Plumbing NC II

This course contains the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to perform related job duties and responsibilities in Plumbing industry. 

By the end of this course, you will be able to understand the importance of plumbing as a profession, demonstrate professionalism and safety in the workplace, identify and handle plumbing tools and materials properly, perform basic maintenance and storage, and carry out accurate measurements and calculations.

This course covers the knowledge, skills, and attitude you must have to accurately estimate materials needed for multiple plumbing installations.

By the end of this course, you will be able to read and interpret plumbing blueprints, symbols, and abbreviations, and accurately compute cost estimates, material take-offs, and labor costs based on job requirements.

By the end of this course, you will be able to interpret different drawing perspectives, identify various types of plumbing installations, apply proper methods for connecting pipes and fitting, carry out plumbing assembly procedures, and perform fixture installation effectively.

This course includes the knowledge, skills, and attitude that you must have to perform pipe leak testing.

By the end of this course, you will gain a clear understanding of the importance and purpose of pipe leak testing in plumbing systems, as well as perfoming leak testing using manual methods and flood testing procedures.

This course equips you with the knowledge, skills, and attitude needed to repair and maintain plumbing systems.

By the end of this course, you should be able to perform basic plumbing repairs, replace fixtures and fittings, and properly identify and use tools for clearing clogged pipes and drains.
